1. General Questions

What is the difference between the classic and the UV gel nail wraps from Miss Sophie?

In the application! For the application of our classic nail wraps, sealing with our Top Coat is necessary. For removal, we recommend our Nail Wrap Remover. For the application of our UV Gel Nail Wraps, curing under our UV LED Lamp is necessary. For removal, we recommend our Care Pen.

Do your manicure options also work on very short nails?

Absolutely! Our nail wraps adapt to various nail shapes and are therefore suitable for very short nails. If you cut the nail wraps in the middle, one wrap can even be used for two nails. For very short nails, you can also use nail scissors instead of a file to trim them. Our Press On Nails can extend your nails (unlike the nail wraps), which makes them perfect for very short nails!

Can I use your manicure options on very brittle nails?

Absolutely! Our nail wraps and Press On Nails are gentler than classic salon manicures because they don’t require drilling or filing off the top nail layer. They also contain no harmful ingredients and strengthen the natural nail, which means they can even help your nails recover and grow back healthy!

What should I do if the nail wraps or Press On Nails don’t fit me?

Our nail wraps come in 7 different sizes. If some sizes still don’t fit, you can simply trim them. This works best while they are still on the backing paper. Our Press On Nails come in 16 different sizes. If some sizes still don’t fit, you can file the sides to adjust the shape.

2. Questions about our Classic Nail Wraps

How long do the classic nail wraps last on the nails?

Our nail wraps last up to 3 weeks on the nails. Depending on how fast your nails grow and how you use your hands every day, the wear time may vary. To ensure perfect adhesion, you should clean your nails with Nail Wrap Remover before application and push back the cuticles. Additionally, sealing the nail wraps with our Top Coat is necessary. It was specially developed for our wraps and seals them with a thin layer.

How many applications does one set of classic nail wraps provide?

A nail wrap set includes 24 wraps in 7 different sizes. Occasionally, limited sets may contain fewer wraps, but they also include different sizes. If you cut the wraps in the middle, you can use one wrap for two nails. This allows one set to usually be enough for 4 applications. A wrap that has already been used cannot be reused.

What material are the classic nail wraps made of?

Our classic nail wraps are made of a material similar to nail polish. This makes them extremely thin so they fit your nails perfectly. Sustainability and animal welfare are very important to us. All our products are HEMA-free, cruelty-free and vegan.

What is the advantage compared to regular nail polish?

Advantages of Miss Sophie nail wraps:

• easier, gentler and faster to apply than nail polish
• longer lasting than nail polish (up to 3 weeks)

How do I remove the classic nail wraps?

The wraps can be removed easily and gently using our mild Nail Wrap Remover. To remove the wrap, soak a cotton pad with remover, place it on the nail, and let it sit briefly. After a short time, the wrap will loosen and can then be removed like regular nail polish. If glue residue remains at the nail edges, remove it with a bit of nail oil. Please do not peel the wrap off, as this may damage your natural nails.

Can I apply a base coat under the classic nail wraps?

If needed and for extra care, a base coat can be used. Our Base Coat smooths minor unevenness and provides additional protection for the natural nail. If you want to transition from gel nails back to natural nails, the Base Coat is especially helpful.

How long does an unopened pack of nail wraps last?

With proper storage and protection from heat and light, our Miss Sophie nail wraps remain good for several years when unopened and in their original packaging. After opening, you should use them within 6 months. Please store opened products well-sealed in their protective sleeve, in a cool and dark place.

3. Questions about our UV Gel Nail Wraps

How long do the UV Gel Nail Wraps last on the nails?

Our nail wraps last up to 3 weeks on the nails. Depending on how fast your nails grow and how you use your hands every day, the wear time may vary. To ensure perfect adhesion, curing under our UV LED Lamp is necessary. It was specifically designed for our UV Gel Nail Wraps and cures them within 60 seconds.

How many applications does one set of UV Gel Nail Wraps provide?

A UV Gel Nail Wrap set includes 20 wraps in 7 different sizes. If you cut the wraps in the middle, you can use one wrap for two nails. This allows one set to usually be enough for 4 applications. A wrap that has already been used cannot be reused. If a size is too small, you can gently stretch it.

What material are the UV Gel Nail Wraps made of?

Our UV Gel Nail Wraps are made of a material similar to UV gel polish. This makes them flexible yet strong, so they fit perfectly onto your nails and last a long time. Sustainability and animal welfare are very important to us. All our products are HEMA-free, cruelty-free and vegan.

How do I remove the UV Gel Nail Wraps?

For removal, we recommend our Care Pen. Apply the oil from the Miss Sophie Care Pen to the edge of the UV Gel Nail Wrap. Before the first use, up to 20 clicks may be necessary before drops appear at the tip. Lift the edge of the wrap with a wooden stick to allow the oil to get underneath. Work your way from one side to the other, applying more oil under the wrap as needed using the Care Pen.

Can I apply a base coat under the UV Gel Nail Wraps?

Absolutely! Even though it’s not required, very soft or brittle nails may benefit from a caring base coat, like our Miss Sophie Base Coat. Just make sure it’s fully dry before applying the wraps. Since a base coat may affect adhesion, it’s best to test it on one nail first.

Can I seal the UV Gel Nail Wraps with a top coat?

Using a top coat is optional because Miss Sophie UV Gel Nail Wraps already include a semi-cured UV top coat, which fully cures under the UV LED Lamp. You may add an additional (UV) top coat if desired. If using third-party products, test them on one nail first.

Can I use another UV lamp or only the Miss Sophie UV LED Lamp?

We recommend using our UV LED Lamp to cure the UV Gel Nail Wraps because it has the ideal power (6W) to cure them within 60 seconds. If the wattage differs, we cannot guarantee the same curing time.

How long does an unopened pack of UV Gel Nail Wraps last?

Our Press On Nails last up to 3 weeks on the nails. Depending on how fast your nails grow and how you use your hands every day, the wear time may vary. To ensure perfect adhesion, we recommend pushing back the cuticles and cleaning the natural nails with the included cleansing pad before application.

How many applications does one set of Press On Nails provide?

A Press On Nails set includes 32 nails in 16 different sizes. If a size is too large, you can file it to fit. If you use our adhesive tabs, the Press On Nails are reusable, allowing you to decide how often you want to wear them. Be sure to remove any remaining adhesive from the back of the nails.

What material are the Press On Nails made of?

Our Press On Nails are made from a soft gel material. This makes them flexible yet strong, so they fit perfectly on your nails and last a long time. Sustainability and animal welfare are very important to us. All our products are HEMA-free, cruelty-free and vegan.

How do I remove the Press On Nails?

For removal, we recommend our Care Pen. Apply the oil from the Miss Sophie Care Pen to the edge of the Press On Nails. Who pays the customs fees for my package?

Import duties, taxes and fees are not included in the item price or shipping costs. These charges are the buyer’s responsibility. Please check with your country’s customs office to determine what additional costs may apply. Miss Sophie is not responsible for any customs fees or charges applied by a country.

Does Miss Sophie deliver to parcel lockers?

Yes! We ship with DHL and can therefore deliver to DHL Packstations. Please note that our standard carrier is DHL, so we currently cannot deliver to Hermes parcel shops.

Can I change or cancel my order afterward?

If you would like to change or cancel your order, please contact our customer service as soon as possible using the contact form. Once the order is being processed, no changes or cancellations can be made.

I received a package that does not match my order. Who do I contact?

We’re sorry — this shouldn’t happen. Please send us a message via our contact form so we can correct your order as quickly as possible.

I want to return my order. What should I do?

Please note: A return is only possible if you purchased your products directly on miss-sophie.com and the 30-day return period has not expired. Refunds are only issued for products actually returned to us. If these conditions are met, you can start a return online.

7. Questions about the Company

How did the idea for Miss Sophie come about?

The idea to found Miss Sophie came from a personal experience that founder Sophie Kühn had during a study abroad semester in southern France. She noticed that nail polish chipped very quickly at the beach. Even expensive nail polish didn’t withstand sun and saltwater. During her research, she discovered a new product. She tested and improved it until she finally found the solution to the original problem – innovative nail wraps that replace nail polish or UV gel polish, last longer, and bring stylish designs to your nails!

Who is behind Miss Sophie?

Miss Sophie is a Berlin-based startup founded in December 2014. Our team consists of many creative minds and highly skilled talents who continuously enrich the company and fill the Miss Sophie brand with personality.
