Questions about our Nail Wraps
What's the advantage over regular nail polish?
Advantages of Miss Sophie Nail Wraps:
• easier, gentler, and faster to apply than nail polish
• longer-lasting than nail polish (up to 3 weeks)
• intricate designs, even without experience as a nail artist
• no smudged or streaked color
• doesn't chip
• vegan, HEMA-free, and cruelty-free
How long do the classic Nail Wraps last on the nails?
Our Nail Wraps last up to 3 weeks on the nails. Wear time can vary depending on how quickly your nails grow and how you use your hands day to day. To guarantee the best hold, you should clean your nails with Nail Wrap Remover and push back the cuticles before application. Sealing the Nail Wraps with our Top Coat is also necessary. It was specially developed for our Nail Wraps and seals them with a thin layer.
How can I improve the longevity of the Nail Wraps?
• Before application: Your nails must always be completely free of oil and moisture before applying (including at the edges). Reason: Nail Wraps don't adhere well to oily or damp surfaces. Pro tip: let your nail dry for another 2-3 minutes after degreasing before applying the wrap.
• After application: avoid contact with water or lotion for the first 1-2 hours. Reason: the adhesive needs some time to fully set. Pro tip: do your nails in the evening while watching your favorite show, so they can cure perfectly overnight.
• In summer: don't apply chemical sunscreen directly onto the wraps. Reason: the surface can become matte and sticky, since chemical sunscreen can act similarly to nail polish remover. Pro tip: use mineral sunscreen, or wash your nails right afterward.
How many applications does one pack of classic Nail Wraps last for?
A Nail Wrap set includes 24 wraps in 7 different sizes. Occasionally there are also limited sets with fewer wraps, which still include various sizes. If you cut the Nail Wraps in half, one wrap can work for two nails. That means one set is usually enough for 4 applications. A previously used Nail Wrap can't be reused.
How do I prevent bubbles or wrinkles when applying?
• File ridged nails smooth: creates an even base
• Degrease your nails: for optimal adhesion
• Choose the right size: if unsure, go with the smaller wrap
• Placement: start in the center and smooth outward toward the edges
• Press down the edges: firmly press the edges once more before applying Top Coat
Can I also use the Nail Wraps on gel or acrylic nails?
Yes, our Nail Wraps are suitable for both natural nails and gel or acrylic nails.
• Choosing a size: If you're unsure between two sizes, always choose the larger wrap for gel and acrylic nails, since the nail is a bit wider due to the curve of the gel layer.
• Cleaning: Usually not necessary, since gel or acrylic nails, unlike natural nails, don't produce oil.
• Sealing: With a thin layer of Top Coat, or alternatively with gel under a UV lamp.
• Removal: Soak the wrap with an acetone-free nail polish remover on a cotton pad for 1-2 minutes, then carefully peel it off.
How long does an unopened pack of Nail Wraps stay good for?
When stored properly and protected from heat and light, our Miss Sophie Nail Wraps last several years unopened and in their original packaging. Once opened, you should use up your Nail Wraps within 6 months. Please store opened products well packaged in the protective sleeve, in a dark, cool place.

A UV Gel Nail Wrap set includes 20 wraps in 7 different sizes. If you cut the UV Gel Nail Wraps in half, one wrap can work for two nails. That means one set is usually enough for 4 applications. A previously used UV Gel Nail Wrap can't be reused. If a size is too small, you can gently stretch it.
How do I prevent bubbles or wrinkles when applying?
• File ridged nails smooth: creates an even base
• Degrease your nails: for optimal adhesion
• Choose the right size: if unsure, go with the smaller wrap
• Placement: start in the center and smooth outward toward the edges
• Press down the edges: firmly press the edges once more before curing under the UV lamp
What can I do about unsightly edges right after application?
Try this trick:
• Apply the UV Gel Wrap
• Trim off any excess with nail scissors
• Cure the wrap under the UV lamp first
• File the edges into shape only at the very end
Reason: Before curing, the wrap is still soft and harder to file precisely.
Important when filing: always file the folded-over UV Gel Nail Wrap horizontally along the underside of the nail edge, moving in one direction only - never vertically back and forth, as this can damage the wrap. A good tip is also to run a Nail Care Stick over the edges of the wrap once more after curing, to press it firmly onto the nail.

How long do the Press On Nails last on the nails?
Our Press On Nails last up to 3 weeks on the nails. Wear time can vary depending on how quickly your nails grow and how you use your hands day to day. To guarantee the best hold, we recommend pushing back the cuticles and cleaning your natural nails with the included cleansing pad before attaching the Press On Nails.
How can I improve the longevity of the Press On Nails?
• Before application: Your nails must always be completely free of oil and moisture before applying (including at the edges). Reason: the adhesive doesn't stick well to oily or damp surfaces. Pro tip: let your nail dry for another 2-3 minutes after degreasing before applying the Press Ons.
• After application: avoid contact with water or lotion for the first 1-2 hours. Reason: the adhesive needs some time to fully set. Pro tip: do your nails in the evening while watching your favorite show, so they can cure perfectly overnight.
• In summer: don't apply chemical sunscreen directly onto the Press Ons. Reason: the surface can become matte and sticky, since chemical sunscreen can act similarly to nail polish remover. Pro tip: use mineral sunscreen, or wash your nails right afterward.
How many applications does one pack of Press On Nails last for?
A Press On Nails set includes 32 Press On Nails in 16 different sizes. If a size is too big, you can file it down. If you use our adhesive tabs, the Press On Nails are reusable, and you can decide for yourself how often you want to wear them. To do so, just remove any leftover adhesive tab residue from the back of the Press On Nail.
Which of the two adhesive options (adhesive tabs or liquid glue) is right for me?
That's entirely up to your preference!
• Adhesive tabs: Quick to apply, leave hardly any residue when removed, and make the Press On Nails reusable.
• Liquid glue: Provides an especially strong, long-lasting hold, but is a bit more work to remove (best done with warm soapy water and our Care Pen).
If you're unsure, we recommend starting with the adhesive tabs.
Do the Press On Nails have a strong curve? I have rather flat nails.
Our Press On Nails have a natural, slight curve, but are flexible enough to adapt well to flatter nail shapes too. The "Extra Short Square" variant has the least curve of all the shapes, but is also the shortest.
