Germany’s #1 Nail Wrap Experts

Self-adhesive nail wraps that make life easier: with this idea, Sophie Kühn founded Miss Sophie in 2014 while still at university, becoming the first to bring Nail Wraps to Germany. What started as an alternative to the nail salon has since decorated over 600,000 hands and been featured in numerous TV shows and magazines.

Since then, Sophie has kept innovating, adding UV Gel Wraps and Soft Gel Press Ons to the Miss Sophie family. Even today, alongside her life as a mom, she stays in close contact with her customers every day to make each product even better. So you can master your everyday life in style, no salon needed.

Frequently Asked Questions

About our Soft Gel Press Ons

What are the advantages of the Miss Sophie Press On Nails?

Advantages of Miss Sophie Press On Nails:

• long nails in just a few minutes

• 16 sizes - a fit for every nail

• flexible, gentle & reusable (with adhesive tabs)

• saves time and money, since no salon visit is needed

• long-lasting (up to 3 weeks)

• removal with nail oil: no need for elaborate filing or soaking in acetone

• doesn't chip

• vegan, HEMA-free, and cruelty-free

How long do the Press On Nails last on the nails?

Our Press On Nails last up to 3 weeks on the nails. Wear time can vary depending on how quickly your nails grow and how you use your hands day to day.

To guarantee the best hold, we recommend pushing back the cuticles and cleaning your natural nails with the included cleansing pad before attaching the Press On Nails.

How can I improve the longevity of the Press Ons?

• Before application: Your nails must always be completely free of oil and moisture before applying (including at the edges). Reason: the adhesive doesn't stick well to oily or damp surfaces. Pro tip: let your nail dry for another 2-3 minutes after degreasing before applying the Press Ons.

• After application: avoid contact with water or lotion for the first 1-2 hours. Reason: the adhesive needs some time to fully set. Pro tip: do your nails in the evening while watching your favorite show, so they can cure perfectly overnight.

• In summer: don't apply chemical sunscreen directly onto the Press Ons. Reason: the surface can become matte and sticky, since chemical sunscreen can act similarly to nail polish remover. Pro tip: use mineral sunscreen, or wash your nails right afterward.

How do I remove the Press On Nails?

For removal, we recommend our Care Pen.

• Apply oil: Apply the oil from the Miss Sophie Care Pen to the edge of the Press On Nails. Before first use, up to 20 clicks may be needed until a drop appears at the tip.

• Lift the edge: Lift the edge of the Press On Nail with a wooden stick to work the oil underneath the wrap.

• If using liquid glue: Also soak your hands for 10-15 minutes in a bowl of warm soapy water (a bit of oil helps too) to loosen the glue.

• Process: Then work your way from one side to the other with the wooden stick, repeatedly adding a bit more oil from the Care Pen under the Press On Nails.

• Important: Never try to forcibly tear off the nails, as this can damage the natural nail - if they don't come off yet, soak them for a few more minutes instead. Any remaining adhesive residue can then be gently removed with a buffer.

How many applications does one set of Press On Nails last for?

A Press On Nails set includes 32 Press On Nails in 16 different sizes. If a size is too big, you can file it down. If you use our adhesive tabs, the Press On Nails are reusable, and you can decide for yourself how often you want to wear them. To do so, just remove any leftover adhesive tab residue from the back of the Press On Nail.

Which of the two adhesive options (Glue Stickers or Nail Glue) is right for me?

That's entirely up to your preference!

• Glue Stickers: Quick to apply, leave hardly any residue when removed, and make the Press On Nails reusable.

• Nail Glue: Provides an especially strong, long-lasting hold, but is a bit more work to remove (best done with warm soapy water and our Care Pen).

If you're unsure, we recommend starting with the Glue Stickers.

Do the Press On Nails have a strong curve? I have rather flat nails.

Our Press On Nails have a natural, slight curve, but are flexible enough to adapt well to flatter nail shapes too. The "Extra Short Square" variant has the least curve of all the shapes, but is also the shortest.

About our Nail Wraps

What's the advantage over regular nail polish?

Advantages of Miss Sophie Nail Wraps:

• easier, gentler, and faster to apply than nail polish

• longer-lasting than nail polish (up to 3 weeks)

• intricate designs, even without experience as a nail artist

• no smudged or streaked color

• doesn't chip

• vegan, HEMA-free, and cruelty-free

How long do the classic Nail Wraps last on the nails?

Our Nail Wraps last up to 3 weeks on the nails. Wear time can vary depending on how quickly your nails grow and how you use your hands day to day.

To guarantee the best hold, you should clean your nails with Nail Cleaning Pads and push back the cuticles before application. Sealing the Nail Wraps with our Top Coat is also necessary. It was specially developed for our Nail Wraps and seals them with a thin layer.

How can I improve the longevity of the Nail Wraps?

• Before application: Your nails must always be completely free of oil and moisture before applying (including at the edges). Reason: Nail Wraps don't adhere well to oily or damp surfaces. Pro tip: let your nail dry for another 2-3 minutes after degreasing before applying the wrap.

• After application: avoid contact with water or lotion for the first 1-2 hours. Reason: the adhesive needs some time to fully set. Pro tip: do your nails in the evening while watching your favorite show, so they can cure perfectly overnight.

• In summer: don't apply chemical sunscreen directly onto the wraps. Reason: the surface can become matte and sticky, since chemical sunscreen can act similarly to nail polish remover. Pro tip: use mineral sunscreen, or wash your nails right afterward.

How do I remove the classic Nail Wraps?

The Nail Wraps can be removed easily and gently with our mild Nail Wrap Remover. To remove a Nail Wrap, soak a cotton pad with Nail Wrap Remover, place it on the nail, and let the remover sit for a moment. After a short time, the wrap will loosen and can then be removed like regular nail polish. If any adhesive residue remains at the nail edge, remove it with a bit of nail oil. Please don't just peel the wrap off your nails, as this could damage your natural nails.

How many applications does one pack of classic Nail Wraps last for?

A Nail Wrap set includes 24 wraps in 7 different sizes. Occasionally there are also limited sets with fewer wraps, which still include various sizes. If you cut the Nail Wraps in half, one wrap can work for two nails. That means one set is usually enough for 4 applications. A previously used Nail Wrap can't be reused.

How do I prevent bubbles or wrinkles when applying?

• File ridged nails smooth: creates an even base

• Degrease your nails: for optimal adhesion

• Choose the right size: if unsure, go with the smaller wrap

• Placement: start in the center and smooth outward toward the edges

• Press down the edges: firmly press the edges once more before applying Top Coat

Can I also use the Nail Wraps on gel or acrylic nails?

Yes, our Nail Wraps are suitable for both natural nails and gel or acrylic nails.

• Choosing a size: If you're unsure between two sizes, always choose the larger wrap for gel and acrylic nails, since the nail is a bit wider due to the curve of the gel layer.

• Cleaning: Usually not necessary, since gel or acrylic nails, unlike natural nails, don't produce oil.

• Sealing: With a thin layer of Top Coat, or alternatively with gel under a UV lamp.

• Removal: Soak the wrap with an acetone-free nail polish remover on a cotton pad for 1-2 minutes, then carefully peel it off.

How long does an unopened pack of Nail Wraps stay good for?

When stored properly and protected from heat and light, our Miss Sophie Nail Wraps last several years unopened and in their original packaging. Once opened, you should use up your Nail Wraps within 6 months. Please store opened products well packaged in the protective sleeve, in a dark, cool place.

About our UV Gel Wraps

What's the advantage over regular UV gel polish?

Advantages of Miss Sophie UV Gel Nail Wraps:

• easier, gentler, and faster to apply than UV gel polish

• saves time and money, since no salon visit is needed

• long-lasting (up to 3 weeks)

• removal with nail oil: no need for elaborate filing or soaking in acetone

• intricate designs, even without experience as a nail artist

• no smudged or streaked color

How long do the UV Gel Nail Wraps last on the nails?

Our Nail Wraps last up to 3 weeks on the nails. Wear time can vary depending on how quickly your nails grow and how you use your hands day to day.

To guarantee the best hold, curing under our UV Led Lamp is necessary. It's specifically calibrated for our UV Gel Nail Wraps and cures them within 60 seconds.

How can I improve the longevity of the UV Gel Wraps?

How do I remove the UV Gel Nail Wraps?

For removal, we recommend our Care Pen. Apply the oil from the Miss Sophie Care Pen to the edge of the UV Gel Nail Wrap.

Before first use, up to 20 clicks may be needed until a drop appears at the tip. Lift the edge of the UV Gel Nail Wrap with a wooden stick to work the oil underneath the wrap. Work your way from one side to the other with the wooden stick, repeatedly adding a bit more oil from the Care Pen under the UV Gel Nail Wraps.

How many applications does one set of UV Gel Nail Wraps last for?

A UV Gel Nail Wrap set includes 20 wraps in 7 different sizes. If you cut the UV Gel Nail Wraps in half, one wrap can work for two nails. That means one set is usually enough for 4 applications. A previously used UV Gel Nail Wrap can't be reused. If a size is too small, you can gently stretch it.

How do I prevent bubbles or wrinkles when applying?

• File ridged nails smooth: creates an even base

• Degrease your nails: for optimal adhesion

• Choose the right size: if unsure, go with the smaller wrap

• Placement: start in the center and smooth outward toward the edges

• Press down the edges: firmly press the edges once more before curing under the UV lamp

What can I do about unsightly edges right after application?

Try this trick:

• Apply the UV Gel Wraps

• Trim off any excess with nail scissors

• Cure the wrap under the UV lamp first

• File the edges into shape only at the very end

Reason: Before curing, the wrap is still soft and harder to file precisely.

Important when filing: always file the folded-over UV Gel Nail Wrap horizontally along the underside of the nail edge, moving in one direction only - never vertically back and forth, as this can damage the wrap. A good tip is also to run a Nail Care Stick over the edges of the wrap once more after curing, to press it firmly onto the nail.
